We arrived after reception had closed but prearranged to collect our key via the automated process. This was seamless. Our room was clean but very cold so we needed to crank up the heater. Dinner at the onsite bistro was good and the staff were really welcoming.

Probably our best accommodations during our 9 days traveling around Tasmania. Cabin 4 has a large combined kitchen/dining area with a mid-sized frig. It opens to a huge bedroom with a reasonable sized bathroom on the end of the unit. The dining and bedroom areas have floor to ceiling windows overlooking the bay and sunrises. We enjoyed a nice dinner at the on-site restaurant and got caught up on our laundry at their clean, reasonably priced on-site laundry facilities. And that doesn't even touch on all the recreational opportunities that are available on-site. Just a great place to stay.

Very kind staff permitted us a late checkout - even half an hour helped. The breakfasts were lovely; beautifully cooked poached eggs on sour dough bread was divine! The room was very spacious as was the bathroom. A little disappointing was the housekeeping service - only once every 3 days. The location, facilities and ammenities of this complex were extremely impressive. The queen bed was very large and beautifully soft.
