"This was a very nice respite from the crowds in the bigger cities. I we were greeted by a very nice lady, who appeared to be in charge of the whole thing, very nice, very helpful, very friendly. The hotel is quirky as a very old building can be, and was really beautiful. our room overlooking the rooftops of the village was very comfortable and quiet. "A palatial room. Centre of Baeza. Walking distance to bus station. Very close to parking station. Large room with gorgeous furniture. Large bathroom. Lashings of hot water. Spotlessly clean. Friendly staff. Good internet. Cons: Rooms are around the dining area so can get noisy at mealtimes and late night celebrations. No window in my room so couldn't check the weather..or to see if it was daylight. Limate control difficult to work."

Fuentenueva
3.0 star property
7.4 out of 10, Good, 13 reviews
"The reception couldn’t have been colder or more disinterested, bordering on rude. This hotel is best for couples—it is set up to be cool and chic, but doesn’t quite sucéed—in part because the staff is so cold. The half doors into the bathrooms are Interesting, but leave a bit to be desired if one wants any kind of privacy. "
