"Room was nice …pool was TINY! Everything else was really great for $140 ! I enjoyed the peacefulness! "

"Everything was well until. I witness the general manager speaking about and peeking out a window looking at my spouse and children. He spoken very disrespect and rudely about my spouse not knowing he and the children where my family. We were offered a free night and thought that was nice. I’m interested in a refund. He’s behavior was unacceptable, in a public lobby, heard by my daughter, myself and staff."

"We love this place, including the great restaurant with views of the river outside. Our only suggestion is that the beds are too high for a short person to get into easily. Very comfortable once one is in the bed, however."

"The front desk person in the mornings is a condescending, nasty, small-minded desk clerk whom should never ever be in a customer facing role - in the hospitality industry of all industries. When I stayed here 2 years ago i distinctly remember how absolutely wonderful the over-night lady is, with her beautiful smile to match her elegant dresses. But this guy I’m not sure of his name is just a total jerk. He didn’t even process my renewal so my key didn’t work, in the rain. Not a huge deal, just a perfect example of all this guy does to make my stay as uncomfortable as possible. "

"Amsterdam Hotel is very conveniently located and very reasonably priced. The rooms, carpets, bedspreads etc. are a little shopworn, but everything is clean, efficient, and the staff is very friendly."

"Friendly, pet friendly, nice place. The lobby was a very nice place to sit and have coffee by the fireplace. The only negative was I didn't like that the buffet breakfast was $14.95 pp. It was nothing special. So I did not eat anything before driving long distance. "
