"This is an old house, and certain features could be deemed charming. The beds were comfortable, and we appreciated some of the amenities. However, it seemed worn and bare-bones in some aspects. The Edgewater was a great seaside motel near to the pier. The staff we spoke to were friendly & welcoming. Our room was comfortable and clean. The only thing we struggled with was the soft mattress. Other than that we enjoyed our 3 night stay and visited Portland and Kennebunkport as both are approx 40 mins away from Old Orchard Beach.
