"Pros: very friendly staff, easy check-in, pool, relatively quiet.
Cons: towels were literally threadbare, coming apart at the seams - amenities feel old and forgotten about. Room smelled faintly of cigarette smoke. Need a car to access anything around the property, almost no restaurants in walking distance save one or two.
Overall and solidly mid accommodation, feels more like a motel than hotel. Recommended for budget travellers with a vehicle only staying for a few nights. "
"Have stayed here before so happy to stay here again. Some fittings in the bathroom fell off - such as taps, toilet roll holder part etc - and we had to put them back on, but besides that, we were happy with our stay there.
Well-equipped apartment in nice location. Coles not too far away. (Walking to the Coles was a pleasant walk, as well as quick drive.) I like the area. My husband was competing at the National Master's Championships. Not the closest location from Forrest Hotel and Apartments, but as I liked the apartments, we were happy to drive each day to that, and the War Memorial etc."
"While it is a bit worn out the bed was very comfortable, the aircon worked well (it was humid for Canberra) Staff were thoughtful and kind and the shower was great."
"Barely any ammenities in the rooms. No signage for water (or any items) in the mini bar and then told we’d need to pay at check out. No instructions in the room at all. Bathrooms are dirty, carpets were not vacuumed. There was a lot of noise during the middle of the night from the floor above and in the early morning (8am) from housekeepers banging and making lots of noise. They blocked out door with trolleys and vacuums on multiple occasions. Overall the quality and service has decreased since my last stay and it was a pretty underwhelming/ unrelaxing experience. "
