"The accommodation is in a great location, and all the staff are very friendly. The housekeeping staff are especially warm, friendly, and very welcoming."

"The staff were friendly and very helpful. The cottage we were upgraded to was clean and very cute. However, I’m not giving a five star reading because the comfort of the bed and furniture is a thumbs down. The bed was super hard. The sheets were not soft. The couch did not have enough cushion and hurt our bottoms and same for the chairs in the living room. Location is convenient because it’s close to everything however, if you’re a light sleeper, I wouldn’t recommend staying here as there is a lot of activity going on in the night garbage trucks, vehicles driving by with loud music that kept us up."

"Very much not clear from the listing, but we were charged an additional significant amount for a cleaning fee for a 3 night stay. The cleaning fee is based on a daily rate, BUT they only clean every 3 days so we essentially paid an absurd amount for it to be cleaned after we left. Listing oversells, and under delivers. Very much paying for proximity/location and beauty of the hotel grounds. Many things mentioned on the listing are not accurate (eg no restaurant open for dinner on property)."

"Awesome place and experience. The staff were very helpful and accommodating. Fantastic tropical setting and mood. Its common knowledge that chickens are everywhere in Kauai, and I was warned about the loud roosters concert in the early morning, and was offered earplugs which I declined. My room was 2nd floor and the rooster chatter did not really effect my sleep."

"The place is just okay, but for the price you pay, it gets disappointing: 1. The room does not match their photo on the website, and it's way off. Double-check user-uploaded photos. There is ocean view in the room for sure. 2. Many corners in the room are obviously overlooked by the cleaning staff, and there's thick dust on surfaces like the top of the mirrors, etc. The hair dryer was all clogged with dust? But the front desk staff was helpful and replaced it with a new one after I brought this up. 3. There's no housekeeping during the 3 nights I spent there. And I don't think this was informed at check-in. So be aware. 4. Breakfast is close to none, yogurt, cereal, boxed milk, and some pre-packaged muffins."
