My vehicle broke down on I-35. I waited three hours for a tow truck and then an hour for the Uber. I arrived about 12:30 and was confronted with an additional $50 dollar deposit. She said she would prefer cash. She reacted to my cranky by being rude. The room was okay but sparse, no amenities. It had a coffee maker but no coffee or cups. The room was agjacent to I-35 and traffic noise and the door rattling woke me up all night. After I heard from the mechanic that my vehicle woul be repaired by the next day I called the desk and asked to extend my stay. I was told that I could extend my stay but rate would go from $57 to $95. I did not want to tolerate the condition of the motel for the increase rate, checked out and sat on the curb waiting for a Lyft. The clerk came out and offered to extend my stay for $70. I refused as I had already made a reservation at the Hampton Inn. I wish I could show pictures of the condition of the room. Paste board was taped to the bottom of the door to overcome the structural deficiencies of faculty. A dresser was missing three doors. Save yourself the grrief, spend a few more dollars and get a good nights sleep at the Hampton Inn.
