This property has to be the nicest B&B I have stayed in ever, throughout my UK and European travels. Jane kept in touch right up to check in, she gave us the most lovely welcome and the property was outstanding, very clean and bring with a really nice style and feel. The dining room was amazing along with the scenery and gardens with summer house and endless views. The breakfast was perfect, the bed and room was extremely comfortable and welcoming. Complimentary tea, coffee and fudge was so lovely. I would definitely recommend this B&B to anyone and I will definitely be staying in touch with Jane for any further travel in the south when I need a place to stay.

Very welcoming and comfortable

Very comfortable and relaxing stay. Great location close to Dartmoor. Our room opened out onto the gardens and woods. Went for a walk through the woods to the vineyard. Hearty breakfast every morning. Very welcoming.

We had a friendly welcome by host, our room - the blue room was very spacious. A chair with arms had been added for my mum. We liked the flasks of fresh milk & the fudge! Breakfast was pre-ordered and time pre-arranged the day before. Property was very clean and comfortable with beautiful grounds

A lovely Place.

A lovely place, very welcoming. A lovely summer room in the garden for an evening drink and relax. Breakfast was great. We only stayed one night but it looked like a really good base to explore the local area from. Would definitely recommend.

From arrival to departure this was a 1st class experience. The hostess was charming, she made sure our stay was memorable. Our room was clean and very comfortable. Our breakfasts were of a high standard. We will definitely be re-visiting.

The property is set in the gorgeous Devon countryside with beautiful views. The gardens are huge and really well kept. There is even a wood to wander in. There were loads of lovely sitting areas in the garden which was much appreciated at the moment when it is so much better to be outside. The rooms were beautifully decorated and included lots of really thoughtful touches. They were also absolutely immaculate and so clean. (Unfortunately I forgot to take photos of the room before our stuff was scattered everywhere!) We stayed in the blue family room which has its own garden entrance and in the luxury double the 2nd night which is stylishly decorated and has its own balcony. Jane is a kind and helpful host who is really quick to communicate with. She provided us with loads of great tips about the local area too. The breakfast was really delicious too. Overall a wonderful stay in this little piece of Devon Heaven. We’ll definitely be back.

Wonderful and welcoming - would recommend

I had a wonderful stay at Lobhill Farmhouse. I could not fault anything. The room was lovely and comfortable and the hosts were extremely welcoming and helfpul. Freshly home-cooked breakfast a real bonus.

Wonderful Host

Jane is a wonderful host and went the extra mile to ensure my stay was comfortable and relaxed. The breakfast was great and she catered for my specific dietary needs with no hesitation. Whilst in the area Jane pointed me in the direction of some lovely things to do and it was nice to meet some of the other guests during breakfast who are returning customers and it's clear to see why people want to return! Thank you for a wonderful stay I will definitely stay if I'm in the area again.
