"Wow, what a dream it was to stay at Fotinos House! Mr. Fotinos and his wife, Ioanna, were so welcoming and ensured every detail was taken care of during our stay. They helped arrange transportation to/from the airport, and Mr. Fotinos even helped carry our luggage up and down the infamous staircases in Oia (and kindly refused our tip). "The hotel rooms are divine, and whilst our shower didn’t work at first, and then only cold water for another day, it was mended quickly! The staff are very friendly, service a little slow, but the staff are so kind that slow is ok! The views are breathtaking and right outside the door is everything that Oia is famous for! Be warned, if steps aren’t for you, then stay in another of the groups hotels, but I think you get used to the steps! "

"Overall it was amazing experience,property was comfortable and “demetreas” went out of his way to accomodate our request. Couple of things i want to mention. 1)standard breakfast is sent to room in take out containers,no choices are give,tea coffee not served and u have to pretty much seeve yourself. 2)the room was infested with ants next to the kitchen window so we have to be careful with handling food."

"The location worked out well for us. Every day flocks of tourists walked in front of this villa and stopped to take pictures, which would have been horrible, but my 10 year old daughter loved to ask them if they wanted her to take a picture of them at this prime location. Many handed over their expensive cell phones and let her do it. It started many conversations with people from all over the globe... pretty cool. I can see why many renters would not appreciate the crowds but we managed to...
