"Perla del Sole is a small, friendly B&B, though with a hotel-style reception, in the resort of Arenella, 8km from Syracuse. The hotel manager (who spoke excellent English) greeted us warmly and provided plenty of helpful information, such as maps, local restaurants, transport information, etc. The rooms were comfortable with all the essentials, including air conditioning (definitely needed at night, as it stays hot after sundown in Sicily) and free wi-fi, and were well cleaned daily. "The hotel is located in the countryside so is a bit remote. There are buses but having a car is better. We visited out of high season and had the pool to ourselves every day. We loved that."

"This property is wonderful.. it's out in the country. Probably 20 miles from Saracusa, And that is what the issue is: If you drive to the property, no problem at all. But if you take a taxi, be prepared to exist on only the breakfast that they offer. The breakfast is wonderful, no hot food, but everything else you could ask for in a bed and breakfast-tyoe breakfast. But there is no lunch or dinner available. So if you take a taxi you're going to have to be very imaginative about how to eat for...

"No está iluminado por la noche, el baño no está ventilado y huele bastante mal. El personal, aunque muy amable, solo hanla italiano. La persiana solo se puede bajar desde fuera del apartamento. La piscina estaba muy bonita y muy bien. Deberían de tener mantas en las habitaciones, solamente había una sábana muy fina para dormir. "
