The room is spacious and very comfy. Breakfast was amazing and I really like their coffee. Service is something that all Tugu hotels share, always warm, genuine, and caring. To me, this is the perfect weekend getaway hotel."

A pleasant stay!

"Had a wonderful stay at Mercure Jakarta Kota. I must say, the front office staff went out of their way to take care of my requirements and even ordered some IKEA products I wanted to carry back. Special thanks to Rika & Hafist Subchan for their excellent customer service. The staff across were nice and courteous and always helpful - house keeping, restaurant, room service, support staff and front office. The rooms were spacious and nice, and of course the breakfast buffet too! Was a pleasant stay and would love to come back again. "

"Hotel is conveniently located to my partners office. Front desk staff is very unstaff. One front desk officer attending to a long queue of check in guest. The remaining staff are hiding inside the staff office. No coordination, no teamwork, no job commitments. Very shameful. "

"A Home Away from Home – Unforgettable Hospitality at Best Western Mangga Dua, Jakarta After a 28-hour flight, the warmth of Best Western Mangga Dua instantly erased my exhaustion. From the gatekeeper’s welcome to the bellman’s gracious help, every moment felt special. The true highlight was DEDE at the front desk. Recognizing my stay from 10 years ago, he welcomed me like family, upgraded my room to a suite, and sent fresh fruits—an incredibly thoughtful touch. His kindness continued throughout my stay, always ensuring my comfort. Beyond DEDE, every staff member, from housekeeping to the breakfast team, provided one-on-one service with genuine warmth—never expecting tips, only focused on guest satisfaction. I’ve traveled extensively, but I’ve never experienced such heartfelt hospitality. If this is how Best Western Mangga Dua treats its guests, I don’t just want to visit again—I’d love to live here! How can laundry cost that much ?

"Very nice , breakfast . The price to get your clothes laundered was outrageous. The best breakfast buffet for $5 usd and to get a couple pairs of underwear/ undershirts and socks was going to cost $20 usd !!!! Wow I could get my undies dry cleaned for less than that in the states!! But overall good location and food was wonderful. Room was nice but not fantastic. "

"Hotel is dated but clean and staff are friendly and approachable. Unfortunately there are lots of mosquitoes especially at the lobby area and guest receptions area. These are in the hotel and not outside. Best to eliminate this at its their first impressions when we come in and where guests sit around at the lounge cafe enjoying pastries and coffee. Can't stay long with all the mosquitoes. "
