First, I was contacted by the manager asking for the payment to be made cash or money order or I would have to pay a $40 for paying with a credit card. Second, the distribution of the property is incorrect, it says it sleeps 17, it might sleep 10comfortably. Third, the bathroom door in the front of the apartment needs a new handle, when u go in u get stuck and u will need someone to open it for u from the outside. Forth, the apartment was not clean, I belive they do not change the bedding between customers. They asked us to bring our own bedding, they should ether keep the bed without any bedding or change the bedding and the customer can their own as well. Fifth, there is mold on the shower door.

We were very happy with the comfort of the bed, the friendliness of the owner, and the location couldn't be beat. We had the 2 bedroom apt and they even gave us a first floor apt due to us being older with mobility issues.

The night we checked in we got a phone call at 1015 saying we had to move the next morning because they put us in the wrong room. We have four small children and a weeks worth of groceries that we now had to pack up and move. They didn’t call us the next day until 1230 to tell us we had to be out by 230 and we were already at the beach enjoying our vacation. They refused to give us any discount for their mistake and told us we were an inconvenience because now they had to clean the room they put us in. Our new room had 1 less bed than we were told and the pull out couch was broken and dangerous if not pulled out very carefully. The room had hair from previous occupants and there were coffee grounds all over the counters. Will never stay here again.

The location was a 30 second walk to the beach and boardwalk. The owners were pleasant. The apartment was clean and spacious. Overall it was a great stay and we would go back again

Not bad property as house was older but had updates. Has window A/C units and you bring your own sheets to sleep on. Location is great, one block off the boardwalk and easy walk to the beach. Would stay here again as it’s not as expensive as other properties close to the boardwalk.

They have a few properties in OC. We got a room at the beachfront house with a city view. While it was nice to be at a beachfront house, the apartment itself was not good at at- it wasn’t a deluxe room we ordered and was very outdated and not clean. Would not recommend.

My experience staying at The Nock apartments was one of my worse stays ever. The 4 bedroom apartment’s refrigerator and stove was not the best. The stove was small and the refrigerator had cancer spots. The apartment had blinds that should have been changed prior to my arrival and the water to wash dishes and shower had to run for about 20 minutes and the water still was not hot it was lukewarm. Outside on the porch ceiling had holes. I give the place a 4 rating and I left a day early because I just was not satisfied and also because I was not allowed to use their wifi as per their son because it’s personal for the office only. I really needed to use the wifi as I had explained to the owner on a very important court case and due to not having wifi the matter was thrown out. Again not a good place to stay.

The room worked well for our families. It was clean & the staff was very courteous & helpful. The only issue is that I was charged more than I was quoted & wasn’t explained what the up charge was for. Overall though, I’d stay here again. Close to beach & boardwalk.

Not as advertised - Nothing like pictures POOR
The "resort" apartments are not as advertised. Air conditioning in 2 of 4 rooms, dirty, broken down sofa, only one tv, NO WiFii (when advertised as having WiFii), No one attending office except at 4 for check in, and 10-11 to check out. Extremely poor overall. Resorts ocean front in same block are renting for same price but far nicer.

Beautiful but small and beds disgusting!!!
Beds are thin on bunks and pull out couch !!! Like normally they are thin but they the mattress there self where worn out and thin had no cushion and they where stained beyond belief they had blood stains on sheets good thing we brought our own bedding plus the walls are thin we had a dog that barked alot when the ppl left and you can here ppl banging around above you at 12 am and parking you only get one parking spot which i didnt know had to pay to park our parents vehicle for the entire stay.

Upon arrival, the apartment was infested with flies. There were two window AC units which barely worked-we had to buy fans to help cool down the apartment. Although the listing advertises free internet, the owner told us there was no wifi in the units but we could sit on a bench outside the office to use theirs if we wanted which is total false advertising and basically unheard of in 2019. My sister had to work so we had to pay for extra data to use a mobile hot spot - unacceptable! The parking is a joke-if you don’t pull exactly into some wooden poles you get yelled at and they may not even have enough spaces for you. We had to park halfway in the bushes to get into a “space.” The shower had mold all on the curtain and the beds were stained as well. The TV had to be programmed daily and then had 4 channels. The proximity to the beach and boardwalk was pretty much the only positive. I would not stay here again and actually feel we should receive compensation for falsely advertising free internet.

The property was a block from the beach and boardwalk so that was wonderful! The owner was very accommodating and you can tell its a family run business as he was constantly running around the property doing things. If we needed something he was right on top of it. If considering this place , remember its affordable and close to the beach, the rooms are clean, really thats all you need. Remember that there is only parking for one vehicle per room you rent, there is a lot you can pay to park in across the street though, and it was very reasonable. Angelo, if you read this you may just see us next year!!

It was right on the boardwalk, it was kept fairly clean. The only thing was that it definitely is an older apartment with slightly run down beds/futon. Otherwise it was perfectly fine

Very old apartment complex. Squeaky bunk bed so kids couldn’t sleep. In-window AC unit that was as loud as a train. Nice staff, but left a night early because nobody could sleep with inside bed/AC racket and a loud neighbor playing radio at 6am both mornings. Overall condition of apartment felt dirty. Great location and free parking but that’s not enough to get us back. Also, website boasted HBO and Disney but apartment no longer gets either (owner told me website was ten years old so too bad). And no Wi-Fi either.

Nice that is was less then a block from the beach. The owners were very friendly. We blew a fuse which put a damper on getting ready. The apartment was all tile which sucked for sand and wetness. Had to use one of my towels to put down as a carpet runner so no one would wipe out from the wetness.

If The Wickman with Nicolas Cage waa a hotel
So ill start by saying the room was relatively nice. For the price. I booked because it was listed for 130 but by the end of the service fees and hidden charges it coast 220. On top of that they asked for a 150 dollar cash security deposite at the door. Then when the returned the security deposite to me they said they should have deducted because we didnt empty the trash can... But the best part was the uncoordinated nature of the wholw business. It was listed a property on 6th street, the actual room we stayed in was on 11th. And angey russian man, who was swearing about the fact that the city now has free parking and that is making him loss money, guided us to our room on a bike. Then he told us we had to be quite because there were families around us, in a manner that was typecasting us as "roudy kids." We clearly arent. In all. If you okay with C- service and a couple anoyances it is a fine enougj place.

First of all I'm not a Russian man. Not everyone in this world that has accent is a Russian. Anyway, it was very clear to you that every young group pays security deposit, that is refundable at the end, after the place is left without damages. Nothing wrong with it, for a responsible group.
