We were able to check in 30 mins early due to our room being ready. We were greeted by the hotel manager who was very welcoming. The front desk staff was ok.
My room was on the first floor directly next to an exit. I should’ve asked for a room change. We experienced constant noise throughout the day and night. Although the door was for “exiting only”, hotel guests would prop the door open for access into the hotel. This was extremely unsafe because we would continuously run directly into ppl entering the hotel from the back/side entrance while entering/exiting our room.
Upon checking the room, there was no toilet paper on the toilet roll. My daughter found a new roll in the cabinet so we just replaced it. I did a “wipe down” of surfaces myself but it was fairly clean except the shower floors. I asked the front desk to ask housekeeping to clean it during their cleaning run. When we came back, the shower floors didn’t look much different and I didn’t receive new towels and wash cloths until I asked the front desk. No shampoo in the dispenser. And the bathroom trash was emptied and the new trash bag hanging on the trash can. Again, I proactively placed the trash bag in the trash can. There was a red stain on the carpet if that’s worth mentioning.
Besides the noise from being placed near the exit, the room itself was relatively quiet. On the 2nd day, I noticed ants in the room. The hotel isn’t horrible but for the price I paid, I expected way more. Kitchen staff was very nice.
