Hotel was amazing. The owner was very welcoming and friendly and the hotel is gorgeously renovated with everything you need and then some. Would recommend and we will be back if we visit New Zealand again.

Fantastic hotel. Beautiful rooms, lovely staff. Could not ask for more. Be aware if you are on the front of the hotel, there is some noise from the street, but this did not spoil our stay in any way. Easy 5 stars.

The room was spotless and very comfortable. Check in was quick and easy. Despite being on SH1 there was no noise in the evening and we slept well.

Clean room, very comfortable and a good location

What an amazing venue. Huge place with lovely spacious rooms. Very clean and the staff were really helpful. They also make Belgian Chocolate on site! If you ask you can visit the kitchen and watch it being made. Beautiful grounds and a fantastic place to stay

Very nice, albeit a short drive to historic district and penguins.

Extremely accommodating hosts, as our room was ready we were allowed to check in early. The accommodation was very comfortable clean and convenient. Great facilities with excellent air conditioning. Would recommend

Very friendly place to stay, lovely room which had everything we needed and more, lovely friendly staff and owner, would go back if possible!

A clean and renovated room with coffe and tea. There was no noise from the street. The service people are very friendly l.

The rooms were newly renovated, clean and comfortable.

Great place for a one night stop to break up a long drive. The owners are relatively new so bear that in mind when looking at older reviews. Very clean and spacious

Room was excellent and provided at we needed, thanks.

Very comfortable

Quite a quirky place in the Victorian area of Omaru. The room was compact and probably the same layout as it was in Victorian time. The room and bathrooms were clean. The kitchen was a bit disorganised. The staff were lovely and very keen to help in any way they could.
