Cute updated room. It was clean and inviting. I called ahead to ask about an early check-in due to time of the wedding and they were accommodating. We were there for a wedding in the area so didn't visit long, but would stay there again in the future.

This was such a nice place,very clean and quiet. I enjoyed that it was close to Houghton college which made it that much better to stay at after such a long drive.

It was a very nice and quiet place. The owners were very helpful and caring about our stay, asking if we needed any thing. The bed slept very well and the bathroom was a decent size and the overall room was clean.

Cute little place

Cute little place to stay. Very clean! No WiFi, TV wasn't working, room was not set at a comfortable temperature for guests during the winter. Easy check in!

We liked the layout of the suite and how spacious it was. It was a very comfortable, pleasant stay. Appreciated how lovely the grounds were lanscaped and decorated. Definitely would recommend the place to others and would like to return again sometime.

We like Oakes Oramel inn because it is clean and comfortable; easy to park and price is great. Although some updating could be done, it is neatly maintained.

Convenient for FLT hiking

We enjoyed our stay here very much. We were in the area so we could hike on the Finger Lakes Trail and the location was very convenient. Our room could not have been cleaner. The bed was super comfortable. We arrived in the evening and had good instructions of how to enter the room. I would absolutely stay again.

The grounds are well kept and it is easy to get around. Most of the room had been updated. The bath tub was peeling but the rest of the room was nice. The heat works great on those chilling nights.

Very nice lady that ran the hotel! Great price and clean room. Shower needs to be painted. It would be nice if rooms had irons and more counter space. Very convenient location to the college we were visiting! Comfortable beds and nice outside decor. Overall a nice experience! Will recommend to friends!

Place where you feel like your at home

I will miss this place very much.My daughter was attending Houghton University and this was such a a nice place to stay close by the college to get her and bring her home on holidays.I always got good service here and communication was excellent.The room was always clean and the bed was always comfortable.I felt like I was at home.I highly recommend this place to anyone you won't be disappointed at this Gem.

Great place to stay off the beaten path!

We have a thing for staying in tiny motels off the beaten path, so the Oakes Oramel Inn was perfect for us when we visited the area! The accommodations were quite pleasant with some fresh updates. Our room was well-appointed and included a microwave, mini fridge, table and chairs, large dresser with mirror, queen bed, and nightstand. A basket of complimentary snacks and bottled water awaited us on our table upon arrival. Towels were refreshed daily, and the shower was hot (with great water pressure, too). Checkin and checkout were completely painless. Twas a perfectly enjoyable stay, and I would highly recommend it to anyone passing through!
