Basic, but definitely adequate
The rooms here are basic and the only heating is a wall mounted convection heater, so my room felt cold to start with. But, what more do you want from a place if the sole purpose it to have somewhere to sleep for the night? I slept like a log, so the bed can't have been too bad :) What really makes this place is the shower. I had a wet room and the shower was "to die for". Ample, instant, hot water and a very good pressure. Kettle, tea bags,instant coffee, sugar and small cartons of milk are provided.

An overnight when travelling from Newcastle to Dorset. A clean tidy room at a bargain price. Very warm and cosy. As a “Silver surfer” the WiFi was disappointing. A booster is needed so that you can do catch-up on an iPad . I would stay there again.

Strange to return to the place where I learned to windsurf when I was at university xx years ago... Great for my purposes as a place to crash before work in the city next day. Had all I needed - ample parking, bed, loo, shower (very powerful) and kettle. Bonus of a 24hr reception so no need to worry if delayed in traffic. And all at very modest price. Beats a Travelodge hands down. When I'm next in Nottingham I'll be back.
