"There was two of us with a king size bed with one pillow asked for another one they didn’t give it to us. The place was run down half of the vet was burnt from a fire. They said there was gonna be breakfast. There was no breakfast I wouldn’t send anybody to that place. We slept on top of the blankets because we’re afraid of there might be something under there. I would never send anybody there."

Brigadier-General Alexander Grant of Grant, Clan Chief, commissioned John Niccelsone, a mason from Ballindaloch, to build a bridge at Lynne of Dalrachney. Built between May and November 1717, the bridge was paid for out of stipends of the Parish of Duthill.

Its parapets and side walls were badly damaged in the 18th century and again in the famous flood of August 1829, giving the appearance it still has today.

"Paid $280.00 for a room that was probably worth $99.00( and that’s being nice)..This is a dated hotel,lobby is from the 80’s,the room we were given had wallpaper unglued in spots,the bath had stained ceiling tiles,the tub drain didn’t work( the drain plug wouldn’t stay up resulting in having to stand in you shower water),the cracks around the floor were caulked and dirty.The chair in the room was ripped and old,etc,etc…Bottom line? Choose a different hotel if thinking of staying by the casino.."

"This hotel is one of the best and cleanest we stayed in . Very comforting and well kept . We have stayed there before and was so impressed, we chose it again . The staff was great and the gentleman who greeted us upon arrival and departure was very friendly and professional. I am sorry I didn’t get his name but his initials are S.Y.S. as stated on the hotel invoice . When needed again, we will definitely stay there ."
