"The property was unique, I’d eat here again-but not stay. There wasn’t any temperature control, we woke up to the room being 90 degrees. And when we went to leave, our truck window had been broken out and my work laptop backpack was stolen. I called the police but they didn’t seem to be very interested in doing anything about it other than taking my report. I will update my review, if they locate my backpack. Still waiting on review of the hotel security cameras to see if they recognize the bum that broke in."

"The staff was kind and helpful. I chose this hotel because of the gym. It was as promised. A reasonable workout facility for a couple of days. Nice stay overall!"

"This property was nice......at one point in time. VERY dated and in desperate need of repair. Stains on the furniture and mattress in the rooms, rust everywhere there's water, lights that barely work. The pool was a disaster. The heater wasn't working so it was ice cold. The hot tub was lukewarm at best and the railings were falling out of the concrete. So much rust everywhere. The water was murky. And the cherry on top of the pool...... you have to CHECK OUT A TOWEL from the front desk! Ok, weird but doable. Where I draw the line? You have to return it BEFORE making your way back to your room. Look, I'm not a self conscious person. My body has gotten me through some super fun adventures and given me one fantastic child. However......no one else wants to see my fat behind dripping water down the hall while my cellulite jiggles along the way. Not to mention at the front desk AND walking through the lobby. Sure, I could have wrapped up in a robe......if I had packed one. Didn't plan on the swamp monster walk of shame on my spring break. Do better, La Quinta. The highlight of our stay was Sarah, the front desk rep in the evenings. She was kind, patient, and helpful. This place doesn't deserve her!"

"Everyone in staff were super friendly and helpful. The room was great and the location to old town was the best. My only complaint the whole stay was with the parking. Definitely not parking friendly. I had to park across the street and walk across what seemed to be a main thoroughfare. Very dangerous since my health doesn’t allow me the ability to move too fast. For a hotel of that size a parking deck would be nice, or at least cut down the size of the gated/private parking. There was very many available spots I never saw taken but began a locked gate. But I did enjoy the stay."
