Very nice hotel, great location and great view (cathedral side)

Such a great find! Excellent price for a lovely apartment. Access to a kitchen with hot drinks, snacks and cooking facilities. Room was modern and clean. Bed was comfortable and the shower was amazing. Staff were helpful. Not much room needed to make improvements as everything was perfect other than I messaged to let them know what time I would arrive on Expedia and no one responded! Other than that excellent stay and would highly recommend!

The best hotel in Sofia. Really excellent service, incredible views, spacious rooms, really comfy beds and just an amazing breakfast! Really could not fault it, cannot wait to stay there again.

Central location but located off a quiet side street. The room was spacious and clean with comfortable beds and had good air-conditioning. The entry key system for late check in had been installed the previous day and they had forgotten to send me details for access. Once I was able to make contact via WhatsApp, they were able to sort this out quickly and I received calls from the manager and the owner to check that everything was okay.

Right on the main drag, yet not at all noisy. Loved the décor (room and corridors!). Staff were fantastic, booking us on tours, making suggestions and enquiring after our day. Particularly appreciated the birthday gift for my partner - as delightful as it was unexpected. Would definitely recommend.

We loved our stay at Rila! It was the best location for the slopes & we loved the huge variety of food we were offered for breakfast and dinner! We loved the surprise of having a live singer in the lounge downstairs after dinner, it was a lovely addition to some of our evenings! Our room was really spacious too & staff were really helpful at reception when we needed anything!

Really convenient location, right next to the metro, 15 minute walk to centre. The rooms were quiet and clean and matched the photos. Only slight difficulty was finding the hotel as there are no large signs. There is a paper print out on the door which I walked past the first time.

A very comfortable stay. Not the place to be if you want a view of mountains or cathedrals, but not a big issue for us. On the first floor we only had a view of the buildings opposite - on the top floor you would at least have plenty of sky. It's not the ideal location for the historic centre and main shopping malls, though a reasonable walking distance if you're fit. In our case it got us using the Metro and trolleybuses, which seemed efficient.

We stayed here room only so can't comment on the restaurant but the hotel is lovely and clean, the staff were friendly and helpful but the best thing about this hotel is the location. It's right in the centre of Sofia by the Parliament buildings and roman ruins. We would definitely stay here again

We had a warm and friendly welcome to the hotel. Very helpful and cheerful staff. We are a family of four adults and three children. The food was excellent for the adults. Good choice of meats and fresh vegetables. They had pasta with a sauce and pizza but I would suggest they add something like homemade chicken goujons for the children especially during school holidays. The swimming pool, like all others this time of year in Bulgaria, was cold to get into. The best way is to shower...

The staff could not do enough for us and were helpful and knowledgeable. On the area . The spar and wellness section is fab .
