Top Northern Europe Hotel Reviews

Strand Palace Hotel
6/10 Okay
"Tiny room."

Clayton Hotel Dublin Airport
6/10 Okay
"The restaurant and bar closed way too early. Why would you close them down when you have a full house? We ordered food right before the Italian restaurant closed. The man who took our order was not very welcoming. The bathroom smelled moldy. The shower curtain had mold on it in both the hotel rooms we rented."

Zedwell Piccadilly Circus
4/10 Poor
"Here is the revised part integrated into the review. The Zedwell Piccadilly has an excellent location. It is literally a few steps away from Leicester Square and Piccadilly Circus. Unfortunately, that is the only excellent thing about this accommodation. We booked Zedwell for three nights. During those three nights, the room was never cleaned and fresh towels were never provided. The room, which they call a “cocoon”, is exactly that, although perhaps even a cocoon has more practical storage. There is no wardrobe, no clothes rack, no bedside table, and no small table where you can place your belongings. Nothing. Just a bed and a shower room. All your clothes have to remain in your luggage because there is absolutely nowhere to hang or store anything. The worst part was the luggage policy. We arrived at noon, while check-in was at 3pm. I did not expect the room to be ready, but I did expect what every normal hotel offers, the possibility of leaving our luggage until check-in time. Not at Zedwell. To leave luggage, you need to pay £15 per piece. For two carry-on bags and two backpacks, that would have cost £60. They did, however, offer a “better” option, pay £50 to access the room we had already booked, three hours earlier. The same applies at check-out. You must leave by 10am. Otherwise, late check-out costs £50. If you want them to keep your luggage after check-out, it is again £15 per piece. I travel frequently and I have honestly never come across such nonsense."

Radisson Blu Hotel, London Heathrow
8/10 Good
"Air conditioning wasn’t working in our room and caused an outage when trying to fix it. They then upgraded us to a suite as the room we had was not longer usable."

Mason & Fifth - Westbourne Park
10/10 Excellent
"The hotel was very clean and modern offering allsorts of extras like the pool, Spa and a cinema."

The Tower Hotel, by Thistle
10/10 Excellent
"Great location. Room was clean and tidy. Food was great in the restaurant. Near St Katharines Dock, marina with excellent bars and restaurants. 5 min walk to underground at Tower Hill. Perfect location 10/10"

TRIBE Manchester Airport
10/10 Excellent
"I often stay here when I'm travelling from Manchester airport. Easy check in and check out. Fabulous Italian restaurant with lovely food, central bar, which does get busy, really comfortable, clean and quiet rooms. The buffet breakfast is OK at best. We visited around 9.15am this time - maybe the food had been standing a while and some of the containers were empty. Also, not a great selection of bread but as I said, it's OK, it's food"

Wakeup Copenhagen Borgergade
2/10 Terrible
"I only stayed at this hotel for one night while traveling alone, but unfortunately my experience was disappointing. The room had a double bed, yet only one pillow was provided. The blanket was also very small and did not properly fit the size of the bed. In addition, there was no fridge in the room and not even basic amenities like a small toothpaste were provided. Considering the price of the hotel, I expected much better service and comfort. Overall, I found the hotel overpriced for what it offered and would not recommend it."

Wakeup Copenhagen Bernstorffsgade
