"We booked through expedia for an emergency trip where we had a family emergency. While enroute from several states away, the personal reason we were there for was moved an hour and half away. I explained this to the hotel and to expedia. Expedia sent an email on our behalf as this was an unforseen emergency and we needed to be close. We stayed the first night and requested to cancel the other 2 nights booked because of the location chsnge. The owner refused to respond to expedias email. This is pathetic as a business owner to refuse even one nights cancellation- to meet us half way - I will never use this hotel again ever -had they done the right thing we would stay for future trips to visit family. You hurt yourself by not helping others."

"Spaces were clean and functional but tile was cracked in elevator, patches were visible in ceilings. Breakfast was typical eggs and sausage."

"The staff were fantastic, pool was a little cooler then we would have liked but it was clean and the area was well maintained which is very important to us. We loved the vibe of this hotel, you get the old historic classy feel here. The workout room was actually more impressive than we thought it would be with new equipment. The pillows were terrible. That's about the only complaint I have!"

"We are early risers , and you were unable to get coffee until 7am. We had to leave the motel and go to a gas station around five miles away so we could get our morning coffee and something to eat. The staff was great and the Casino was nice but the amenities were awful for people that get up early. "

"The shuttle was great. Jeff I will get you where you need. Emerald and Jeff were great when the pool was out of order. They shuttled us to a sister hotel. That sister hotel was rude, but great pool. "

"The staff were friendly throughout our visit. The breakfast they provided was delicious. The rooms were clean but the hot tub/pool area was a little dirty. It was full with families the whole time so it can get crowded. Overall would stay again in the future "
