La Posada Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"It was our 3d stay at La Posada. Each time, it has been magical. We always go with the same couple of friends and itโs our treat at the end of one week trip to NM or AZ. It has been beautiful remodeled, each piece of furniture in the lobby, the corridor is wonderful, old but beautiful just like in the rooms. You feel special. Dinners at the Turquoise Room are also special, between nouvelle cuisine and south of the border. And of course, the dining room decoration is beautiful too. Staff is always nice. The owner is a painter and her paintings are all over. I love them! They are spread but on the second floor there is a large collection of recent ones not to be missed. I recommend that hotel, a little expensive but worth every dollar."
Clarion Pointe Winslow I-40
8/10 Good
"Overall this was a good hotel and I would stay again, despite some minor complaints. Parking was good. The guy at the front desk was very friendly and helpful. The fridge had no freezer, but there is an ice machine. The toilet needed a scrub, but otherwise the room appeared clean and neat. The bath towel was rough, but the shower head was good and there were lots of cubbies for soap, shampoo, etc. I heard booming bass for a while, which is not the hotel's fault but might be a locational thing. I couldn't tell where it was coming from, and it might have even been a guy sitting out in his truck booming for a couple of hours. I could feel the floor and my bed vibrate slightly whenever people walked down the hall. The hotel network name didn't even show up as an option, but I didn't pursue this as I wasn't desperate for a connection. The breakfast offerings were good and included waffles."
