We only stayed a night but it had almost everything you'd need for a stay. A bit of soap in the bathroom and teatowel/towel and washing up liquid in the kitchen with some milk for a cuppa when you arrive would have made it perfect. "Comfortable cosy stay in lovely, clean cottage which is dog friendly. Situated minutes from shops meaning you can easily get your essentials or grab a drink in a lovely pub. Nice location and suitable base to drive to other parts of the region. The cottage was clean and presented as described. WiFi was excellent throughout ( I know that’s required for some, but not us) Has a small back garden, which is gated and perfect for dogs to stretch their legs."

"I was made welcome by friendly and professional staff from start to finish. There was also a fire alarm event at the start of my stay which I thought was managed well but I would reccommend using a Megaphone when communicating directions with the evacuated guests."

"Checked in for 1night as we travelled to attend a family funeral, upon entering the room the curtain was shut and the smell of mould of very overpowering. Opened the curtain to be greeted with alot of black mould all over the window the curtain and underneath the table, i spoke to staff on reception about this as my partner has chronic asthma and they moved us rooms very helpful. We moved rooms and went straight out to eat as we had been travelling all day, we went back to the room later on to notice this room also had mould in a broken window lock and a broken table, body hair left in shower! Spoke to the main desk again and they offered us a new ropm it was 11.30pm and we had to be up crack of dawn for a funeral! I saod no the room will do for 1 night as we were so tired, during the night it was so noisy people shouting. Spoke with the manager the next morning and was given a full refund as 2 rooms were disgusting. Staff were helpful but hotel is outdated and mouldy, pictures do not match reality it was like a place they house ex cons!"
