"Absolutely fabulous if you're looking for a retreat in the country side. Access to Bovey Castle amenities is a nice feature. Enjoyed air rifle shooting range and hawking experience. Cottage is charming and local pub is a very short walk. Driving to the cottage on narrow windy roads is a little challenging but totally worth it!!!"

There is a narrow gravel drive up to the property so Parking was in the village square which was a short walk around the outside of the pub, so not recommended for disabled as there is also steps up to the entrance door. We spoke to the owner who stated that the advert was not placed by him. It was the fault of hotels.com as he does not use them you get your info from a 3rd party All I know is that I am £30 out of pocket. The stay was good as I can not blame hotels.com for all the rain."

"Lovely clean room. Great that you can turn the shower on without having to reach into the shower and get wet. Staff friendly and welcoming. Checked for us to see if room was ready so we were able to check in early. So happy to be close to the Exeter Chiefs ground, very handy. Lovely bar area, good choice of bar food and drinks. Definitely would stay again and would recommend. Great that the parking is free also. "
