    "Well I got double booked for this room somehow.. but that wasn't my main issue.. The A/C wall unit was out.. And they had a floor unit with a heat return going out the window.. It did little to nothing.. Was very uncomfortably hot in my room..Fix the A/Ac and place would of been great for a solo traveler like myself"

We were left comparing this property to a 5 star property in Paris, and this property was much beyond even that! Comfortable, convenient, fantastic staff, drop dead gorgeous property, excellent amenities. Yes, it's heavy on the tab, but you feel like it worth every $ you spend.     "Being in the historic district, travellers must know that there is no lift so you must carry your luggage up to your room. Some rooms have air conditioning, ours did not but there was a fan so that helped! The hotel is very walkable to many landmarks, museums, restaurants etc. We walked everywhere but you’re also close to transit to get to those places that are farther away. We only had two days in Amsterdam, so our proximity to those points of interest was paramount."
