Gift shop is adorable and they add a special touch to putting your name on a plaque visible at the entry way into the Ryokan. We will miss this facility and hope to return again. "

Location was a bit out of town and was either a bus, taxi or a long walk uphill. This was my favorite property in Japan. I would definitely stay longer next time. "

The location is perfect, very close to the temples and at a 5 minute taxi ride from the train station. Also walkable in half an hour or less. Breakfast was very good.
