A cute single room, perfect for my stay. However, being on the 4th floor with no lift and a suitcase was hard work! The hot water was intermittent and it cut out completely during my shower on two mornings. That being said, the staff were very friendly and helpful and I was able to store my luggage on my last day after check out.

Older Hotel in a good neighborhood. Last minute booking for a great price. Staff was nice , friendly and helpful. The le petit dejeuner (breakfast) was great, for 10€. Hotel Location, for us, was ideal; we continued up the coast (Monaco/Italy) our next days journey. If you want a shiny modern place, this isn’t for you. But if you don’t need new, want a great value, walking distance (15min) to the beach, where you are safe, with a mini frig, clean linens/towels & hot water. This place is highly recommended. Parking is limited, find a place on the streets nearby where it is free 9pm to 9am.

The owners are great and they made our check-in a good experience. This is a small, likely family owned property. There are no elevators and we stayed in the fourth floor. It was tough climbing with our carry-ons. The in suite bathroom was very small, and there was no air conditioning. This is a property that is good for a night stay, but not for a long stay. It might also be ok for younger people that would not be worried about climbing stairs with their luggage. Not far from the hotel, as one walks towards the bus terminal ( Vaubon), one can see homeless people, but we never felt threatened by them.

Property was not what was advertised. It was a box that felt slightly larger than a jail cell…ultimately decided to lose money instead of stay at this facility…do not recommend!!

The Hotel de Dames is a quaint boutique hotel situated in the Requier. The staff were very friendly and helpful and gave me some good tips on restaurants and getting around, and they looked after me well at breakfast. The hotel is ten minutes walk to Old Town and 20 minutes to Jean Medicin, or 5 minutes on the tram. I had no problem with the hotel, but I had problems with Orbitz and will never use them again.

Great location but insanely hot (in August)
The hotel is in a great location and the staff were all very friendly and accommodating. The hotel would be perfect if you needed to spend one night in Nice. I realize I booked this hotel knowing that there is no air conditioning so I know I’m partly to blame but this place is insanely hot. I think it would be ok to stay here any time of year other then July and August. It was pretty impossible to sleep at night even with a fan and I wound up getting heat exhaustion.

The tiniest room I've ever stayed in.The shower was so small I couldn't help hit the tap getting either hold or cold water. It was comfortable however and even had a small refrigerator.

Great stay, great price!
The hotel was so clean and the staff were even nicer! Very helpful, kind and accommodating. The bed was very comfy. We were worried about street noise but the hotel was on a relatively quiet street just off a main road (awesome for travel on the tram) so it wasn’t bad at all. The curtains allow for a lovely lie in. The breakfast was delicious. Lovely hotel!

It was a quaint hotel with the rooms representing different actresses/models. It was close to old town where all the food was. Parking was available for 10 euros a day. No AC. Breakfast was provided for a small fee.

Lovely hotel
The hotel is located 10 mins walk from harbour and 10 mins walk from the old city and beach. It's also about 10 mins away from the train line to Monaco and Cannes. Room was nice and clean. The breakfast courtyard is very quaint. We enjoyed our mornings there. There isn't a lift though. We stayed 4 floors up and luggage was a bit tricky. The bathroom is tiny. We're quite tall so it was a bit tight. There's no safe in the room. Our room had a lovely balcony overlooking the streets of Nice.

Friendly and convenient stay
Relying on public transport we found it to be a very good location. There is a tram stop close by. Nice Riquier railway station and a Carrefour supermarket are also close. The staff were very helpful and the continental breakfast was delightful. The rooms we stayed in were quite small, but perfectly adequate.

Amazing Stay
The location was perfect, near great restaurants and offered a pretty walk (about 15/20 minutes) from the beach. The bathroom was small, but the room was more spacious than expected. Comfortable bed and incredibly kind and helpful staff!

Having stayed in many many hotels from 7 star down to 1 star I will rate this as fair and honest as I can. If you just want somewhere cheap just to get your head down at night then this will do, we stayed in Brigitte Bardot and the room is cramped and simple, the beds were comfortable and pillows soft, a small shower room with broken door handle, shower was clean. Radiator in the room valves are broken, although turned off it is continually warm so you cannot turn it off and being on 2nd it floor gets very warm and stuffy., , too hot at night. If you open the windows it is incredibly noisy traffic below, motorbikes horns etc so it will disrupt your sleep without ear plugs., if you want quiet- ask for a room in the back of the hotel, your radiator may not be broken as well so could be cooler at night- I dread to think what this room is like in the summer.. The curtains are thin and do not block out too much light but you can close the shutters... there’s are quite old and weathered and have seen better days. Basic Continental Breakfast for €8 was ok. This is first time I have stayed at hotel des dames.. would I do it again... I don’t think so, it is worth paying a little bit more in my opinion.

Några sköna dagar i Nice
Bra: väldigt vänlig personal, snabba med att komma med mer kaffe på frukosten och låna flasköppnare och vinglas vid behov. Innergården var mysig ställe att vila upp sig på eftermiddagen. Läget nära gamla stan. Dåligt: väldigt varmt i rummet, ingen AC. Toaletten är minimal. Sängen inte det bekvämaste. Skulle dock rekommendera stället till alla som inte bryr sig om att gå i trappor och klarar av varma rum utan AC
