"The staff were extremely pleasant and check in was flawless, we received an obviously recently renovated room and was fantastic with very tasteful decor, the Bluetooth mirror was a great touch!
We didn’t eat at the hotel so can’t comment on food, but the pints in the bar were good.
There is a games room and it’s quite well stocked including snooker, table tennis and an indoor bowls mat!
There is also a a seasonal ice rink used for curling which would have been great to see but obviously not in June!
The only negative would be a slightly dated lounge/dining area but there does appear to be renovations being done.
We only stayed for a night but wouldn’t hesitate to stay again as it fitted our needs."
