Easy check in, nice single room. Small but well equipped. A few cobwebs around the ceiling light and mattress a bit soft for my liking. Nice bathroom but would have liked a mat for the floor and a glass or plastic cup to rinse after brushing teeth. Breakfast was good.

Staff very friendly and helpful. Food in restaurant was really good. Room too warm for us personally even with window open. Bathroom fixtures (bath/shower fittings) could do with being updated/modernised. Overall pleasant stay.

Copthorne Hotel Newcastle
Large room overlooking the river was spotlessly clean. Good value 24hr parking charge with car park under the hotel. Friendly staff and very good value for money. Good location to explore Newcastle and Gateshead on foot.
