Excellent rooms and location. Slightly on the pricy side, but I suppose you’re paying for location and style. Check in was disappointing, sat and watched numerous other checking in with speed and no issues. We were annoyed as our room wasn’t ready by the guaranteed 3pm check in. Looked to be a one off, but can’t not mention it as it did annoy us. Rooms them selves are fab quality, big and spacious. We had a terrace room and enjoyed sitting looking over the tyne and bridges! We thankfully hit on to go on the two days of Geordie summer so it was gorgeous to sit in the sun. Breakfast was expensive we thought, so we went to local Tesco bought pastries and ate them on the terrace.

Fantastic experience
Friendly and efficient reception, lovely large and comfortable room, good pizza restaurant. We had a great view too. No complaints at all, would definitely come back. Only thing to note is the shower is part of the main room. It's mostly frosted, but still weird to me. I hate that, but many people won't mind.
