Like many after me and many before me, my husband and I booked one night here after our flight out of Newark was cancelled and re-booked for the following evening. It was the only lodging very close to the airport that still had rooms. Fortunately, our room was clean enough, and I didn't see any signs of bugs. However, when we arrived in the room, the electricity was not turned on, and we had to go down to the lobby to ask for the electricity to be turned on. It's true, as others have said, that the property is very outdated and rather musty/in dire need of a reno. However, the staff was kind and helpful, and it was ok for one night. Less expensive than it would be for us to take an uber all the way back to our apartment in Brooklyn for one more night.

The property was in a very industrial area. So there wasn't anything around. If you have no car, you are a little stuck. The restaurant on site was good - not anything extra though. The room was clean and spacious. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. There was a pull-out/futon (I think). The tv channels really need help though.

Bathroom was the problem had to wait for over 4 hours to use toilet wouldn’t flush and bathtub held water as you too a shower and the other guests had a fight at 4 am for over an hour and the went outside and kept going. The team at front desk were very professional in how they talked to you.

Early check in was smooth. This place is filthy and dated. I believe they provide accommodations for local residents weekly. Room 203 has bed bugs so I know the entire property is infested. It's close to the airport but I wouldn't recommend staying here. My mother stayed at the Double Tree with the same issues.

The price was right for the location. Easy to Uber to and from the hotel. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Food at the restaurant was good and reasonably priced. Room was clean, but dated facilities made things look dirtier than they were. I would stay there again.
