Excellent hotel with a sort of vintage feel. They even decorated for the holiday. Pool was clean but it right out front so it’s a bit awkward to go in and out the front lobby to swim. Enjoyed our stay.

Parking was fine. Hotel is a little bit hidden. Water in Slidell is off, but better than it was 45 years ago! Hotel was fine- great price. Breakfast had lots of options- all good.

I was disappointed that the room did not have a phone. I had questions and had to go down to the front desk. We got in the room and temp was good. We go to bed and we wake up 2 hrs freezing, so bad that I had the shakes. The beds didn’t have a blanket or comforter. I turn the air off and was to tired after driving 7 hrs to get there and I wasn’t able to go to front desk and get a blanket and ask why there isn’t a spare blanket in the closet.I would have called for on if I had a phone. I checked out first thing in the morning.

Your staff are exceptional and the room was clean. I enjoyed the breakfast every morning and the coffee all day! Everyone I spoke with was kind and very helpful. The hotel itself is a bit worn and is showing its age. I did find the air "fresheners" at the hotel entry to be very overpowering and the room itself was also a bit too strong.
