The closet door had a piece of metal sticking out and I cut myself. I showed a picture to the front desk and ask for them to please fix it before someone else got hurt. I hope they do it.

Me and my family attempted to stay in two different rooms. After walking into both, we decided that we would not stay in either room. Both rooms smelled and the bed linens were stained. We were still charged for the first night even though we never stayed at the hotel one night.

FIX YOUR CHECK IN PROCEDURES FOR BILLING
My card was ran for the FULL hotel prices before I could check in. When I actually checked in, my debit card was ran AGAIN for full amounts of all 4 rooms I had!!! I traveled with my school Powerlifting team and my account was totally messed up after the hotel did that. I travel a lot and I have NEVER in all my years had this happen to me at a hotel. (I would only be charged ONE time.) The manager explained this only happens with that "Holiday Inn Express"... and I let her know I would never book with this hotel franchise again. (Especially with student athletes and a fixed school budget). They refused to take a pre-printed school check and I was forced to use my personal card.

The key system on our room didn’t work. The desk clerk had to use the master key to let us in and out of our room. It was clean and comfortable though.
