"We had a wonderful but short stay with our hosts at Braeburn Guest House. We were visiting for Ben Nevis but would definitely stay again on a return visit. The location was easy to find and local to the main town. The room was lovely, comfortable with a great shower and lots of amenities to make the stay feel homely. The check in was quick and our host was so friendly. We couldn’t make the first morning for breakfast as we were setting off early and we were instead offered a sandwich for the climb. Instead what came to our door were two bags with sandwiches, crisps, oat bar, banana and orange juice. Very thoughtful and very needed up on the mountain! Breakfast the following day was delicious. There were a selection of cereals, fruit and juices available with all the preserves and spreads you could need. You are then offered toast and coffee/ tea to go alongside your cooked breakfast overlooking the mountains. There was even a dear chewing through the garden. I couldn’t recommend this guest house enough! Excellent service, excellent food and a really comfortable stay."

"very nice room and a nice view of the Loch- only issue was the shower. Water was either scalding hot or ice cold- the adjustment didn't work. Also- didn't realize it was located at the end of a residential neighborhood and we were routed from Inverness over 9 miles of a very narrow road that was only wide enough for 1 car- very stressful. Loved Ft William and her restaurant suggestion of Fishy Fishy"

"Property was ok and rooms were spacious enough but overall a little tired. None of the tap beers were working in the bar and not many choices for beer. Breakfast had a good selection. Shoutout to Melanie in the bar she was awesome. Alex and Patrick were very helpful and found rest of the staff great as well ensuring we were happy. Location was great as well as a five minute walk to high street where all the bars and shopping were located."

"We loved our stay here. It was so convenient being so close to the train, very welcome when arriving with lots of luggage and on the last train at night! It had beautiful views of ben Nevis and loch eil. The train station was small and pretty and trains were quiet and just fun to see rather than noisy and fast. Also the last train was the 10.30 at night so no trains to disturb your sleep. Outside was so peaceful and quiet which I loved and you could just walk over to the late or even take your meal over and eat on the picnic table if you wanted. We had a taxi to Ben nevi which was roughly £16 one way. We also took the train to glenfinnan to see the lake and viaduct and continued on to mallaig after to enjoy more views including loch eilt and some coastline! Found some nice shops there for gifts such as highland coo and a couple others we really liked but can't remember the names. Looking forward to another trip, hoping to catch the snow at some point . Thank you for a fabulous stay"

"Basic small rooms, very snug for 4 or 6, Nice touch with two bathrooms and the fact one was given to each room. Pity only small hand towels given out. Kitchen, dining and lounge and good size with all that you’d need - no tv tho!"

"Lovely and clean, everything you need for a comfortable stay is provided, towels, washing liquid, toilet paper etc. the electric meter doesn't really run away with a lot of money. Owners are very helpful and friendly. Grandsons loved the Deer, sheep and chickens oh and playing with the dogs. "
