Bed bugs found in my room, laid on the bed for 20 minutes and saw one crawling around next to me. I moved out and cancelled right away. Responsiveness from the hotel has been difficult for Expedia to refund the reservation. My friend also stayed and said he found roaches in his room.

Weekend Away

Nelson is a lovely place to stay. Weather was warm & a great vibe in the town centre. The motel has parking but it's easy to walk into the town centre. It was comfortable with separate little kitchen & bathroom. Nice cafe next to river about 5 mins walk from motel.

Very friendly & helpful staff . The 2bedroom unit was in poor condition, mould on the ceiling of the bathroom, the oven still had crumbs & the icebox was unusable due to ice buildup.

Property looked much different in photos than it did in person. Cockroach running along walls, dirty under the furniture, very small. Pool was a mess. Overall very unhappy with my stay.

Don’t stay here

Not good at all. Beware as photos are deceiving. Potentially fake. A complete dive!! One towel for two people staying. No hand towels, facecloths, bath mat. So over priced. Would have been better off at a camp ground motel and would have been way cheaper. The hosts will deny the claims I’m sure. Also if you read some of the past reviews, they just don’t stack up. Fake as well probably.

A very pleasant stay, welcoming from start to finish. Sean and Ning were a great couple who made my stay feel like it was just like home instead of in a hotel. The room was very clean and the bed comfortable. The best part was the new bathroom with a great shower. Within 2 minute drive or 5 minute walk to the city also made it very easy to get to the many food options. Would definitely stay again.

Clean, comfy & great location.

Family group of 5 with adult children enjoyed our stay. Clean & comfy with ample space. We were upgraded to a 2 bedroom apartment which was ideal. We were able to check in an hour earlier when we arrived to park the car. It is an easy walk to CBD and lovely walking tracks around the river/creek. Management staff very welcoming & easy to talk to. Close to main roads, but no traffic noise at night. We enjoyed our stay & highly recommend.

The upgrade to a 1 bedroom apartment was much appreciated and was clean and comfortable. The pool was excellent, but the fridge has a bad vibration which was noisy during the night.
