Sunset at the Palms Resort - Adults Only - All Inclusive
10/10 Excellent
"We loved everything about Sunset at the Palms! It was so beautiful... such a vibe! Stone, dark carved wood, art and gorgeous plants EVERYWHERE. We immediately felt calm and relaxed. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The food and drinks were great. The beach was stunning, and it was so fun hanging at the pool bar. The spa was wonderful as well... great couples massage!
I can not say enough about the staff! Everyone, and I mean EVERYONE was so nice, extremely competent and super helpful.
Shout out to Piano Paul, who made each night so fun and memorable!"
"The resort grounds were beautiful, meticulously maintained, and manicured. The food was above par for the ai resorts we’ve been to. I’d definitely recommend this place!"
"Love everything about the cliff side resort. Staff go above and beyond for all tourists. The food is exceptionally tasty as it is all genuine homemade food prepared right at this resort. The views are breathtaking, this resort gives you definitely a sense of peace. "
"We stayed 3 nights in the Sagitarrius cottage and we loved it! It was everything we hoped for — a private cottage with lounge chairs, a hammock, a patio, a private outdoor shower with amazing ocean views. You can even see Rick’s Cafe from there. One thing to note: the cottage shares a wall with the restaurant, but it didn’t bother us since the restaurant closes at 10 pm and everything is quiet thereafter.
The lounging area is great, with comfortable sun chairs, parasols, and small beautiful stairs and pathways along the cliff — and the sunsets are incredible. The amenities were well maintained. We also tried the restaurant (Ivans) and bar for lunch and dinner; the food was delicious and dining with that view was a highlight. The reception staff was very helpful and booked our reservation at other restaurant. The included shuttle from the restaurant was also appreciated, especially since there’s no sidewalk along the road.
You can swim in the ocean, though it depends on the conditions. We were happy to jump in and use the ladder since there’s no beach access. The pool was also available.
We would definitely stay again! "
