Neath’shistory dates back to Roman times and there are a number of sites of historicalinterest that chart a rich and varied history from those early days, throughthe middle ages and the industrial revolution to the present day.

The Dulais ValleyHeritage Trail will take you, quite literally, on a walk through history, andyou can discover the tranquil splendour of the nearly 1000 year old ruins ofNeath Abbey. At Aberdulais Falls you can see the largest electricity-generatingwaterwheel in the UK, and it’s quite something to behold.

The room staff breakfast all more than good But the down side for me was the tv I'm 64 years old and my hearing is not great now I do understand the volume not going so loud as to disturb the next room but the volume goes from 1 to 100 so why set it at 10 I had to sit right next to it to hear it ...
