The hotel was great, pretty, steeped in history, and beautiful. It was grander than I expected and was more than pleased. It was a bit noisy - old building and lots of street / square noise but it’s not a complaint really. I will say that I questioned the concierge service on where a local would go out to eat. (All of the restaurants near by are touristy and serve the same dishes!) he gave me a few names to look into. All were very high end and fancy with big $ tags! Wanted something local and good. Had to do my own research and came up with a great place that we were the only tourist in and the food was delicious.

Right in the very heart of city centre beautiful building with lots of history and thats before you get outside! Breakfast had plenty choice unless you want traditional english breakfast but hey your in Rome. Every major sight see is within 30 minutes walking.

Hotel was nice. They were renovating the hotel during our stay. I’m sure by now it’s done. No view of piazza Navona as we hoped and the shower was tiny but overall it was a nice hotel and great location.

Breakfast was poor for the the rating of this hotel, but the worst was an attempt to bill me twice for the one room we used: the hotel claimed that it received "two reservations" for one room, when it was obvious that it was some glitch where the Expedia agency apparently sent the reservation for one room, according to the records two times within 9 minutes. Clear attempt at ripoff, and during the five night of our stay, the manager of the hotel was never available to straighten it out.

We are very disappointed about what you are saying.
We did not just claim that we have received two reservations for one room; we actually received two different reservations with two different bookings numbers (1172958121 and 1172952519) from Expedia and we proved that to you and, in fact, when we informed you about that, you were aware that you made a double booking. You said to us that you were not worried about that becuase you had an insurance and that you would have the money back. At the check out you signed for both of the credit cards transaction and you asked for the original receipt of both reservations as a proof document to send to your insurance company.
Regarding the breakfast, we offer to our guests classic continental breakfast with a wide selection of sweet and savory choises. The guests can have any type of coffee and flavors of fruit juices. Anyway, thank you for the advise, we can always improve ourselves.

Great location beautiful building and view from terrace for breakfast is amazing. Downside is because of its proximity to amazing cafes and restuarants its in a precinct that is noisy till all hours of the morning but wouldnt stop us staying here again. Wifi doesnt work no phone in room and all thr room lamps cant be plugged in as they dont fit new powerpoints. #firstworldproblems like i said its beautiful location and building which makes up for the other things
