"Very clean, comfortable property. Calm, nice courtyard with plants. Staff very friendly. The only downside is that our room had the front window facing the street/sidewalk, so there was quite a bit of traffic and front door noise. "
"The apartment is very clean and comfortable, the host is very communicative. We really appreciated having a sofa to use, as well as the good quality AC, a small kitchen area and a modern bathroom. I really appreciated that most basic toiletries were provided.
The area is a little way from the main downtown area, which could be a little challenging when dealing with the horrendous traffic in San Salvador (it took us an hour to travel 3 miles in an Uber, which seems to be common). However, there are lots of shops and amenities within walking distance, so it’s not always necessary to travel very far.
It should be noted that the apartment seems to be an extension of a main family home - so even though you have your own private space, it is sometimes possible to hear noises and voices coming from within the building. That said, it did not disturb us too much.
My only suggestions for improvement would be perhaps the host could install some kind of floor lamp to make the area even more cosy and relaxing. Also, the rainfall shower doesn’t really work as it should and we had an issue with the TV glitching that I am sure the host will resolve."
