"This was one of the best hotels I stayed in in Japan! The service was outstanding, the room was beautiful and very clean. We had our own private mineral tub and even a massage chair. The Kaiseki dinner was outstanding.
I had left behind an important piece of equipment, and the staff found it and emailed me within an hour of leaving the hotel. They mailed it to my next destination for me, I was so relieved!
I can’t say enough about how amazing the service is at this hotel.

"Our stay at the high-end Honjin Hiranoya Kachoan was an amazing experience. When we arrived that evening, they led us right in for a fancy kaiseki dinner in a private room. We didn't love all of the food options, but they were great to try, and we loved the experience. Next night, we are at their yummy sushi restaurant. The beds were traditional but extra fluffy. The baths were one of my favorite places of my trip. So beautiful and lots of them. The soaps etc they offer are really worth...
