"The staff at Arbutus Grove made us feel very welcome, including our dog. They were very kind and considerate. Many dog-friendly motels get very strict when you mention you have a dog with you, and slam you with a long list of additional rules. Arbutus Grove welcomed our doggy with big smiles."

"Our last night there was a screaming child running around outside our room between 1130PM and12:30 AM and than continued to run wild on the balcony on the 2nd level which went on for another half an hr. We werent sure if they were guests or not but it was a very unpleasant end to our stay. I commend the housekeeper who we believe lives there, that came out and tried to difuse the situation the best she could. Other than that everything was enjoyable. We would have liked more service with towels,...

"It was an older motel that was in the process of remodeling and was lacking some of the furniture. I asked the manager for a microwave and he loaned his. He has only been there 2 1/2 months and working hard to improve the place. "
