"the hotel is 5.4 miles from downtown. THe country was experiencing Load Shedding (Power outages) so they said they had a back up system, but could only turn it on, if we committted. Moved to upscale hotel, and even with their back up system... no aircon would go on, even with the back up. Stoneridge would have been worse, and with blackouts all around given its distance outside the city."

Example: I was asked if I wanted my rental car washed, but I didn't feel that I needed that, so I said "no, thank you". A short time after the staff member was busy washing my car, and of course I paid him a few Kwacha. The morning I was about to leave, he again was washing my car (which didn't look dirty at all). Place consists of several buildings some of which dont have hot water so you may need to go to another building if seeking a hot shower. Great restaurant onsite and self catering kitchen available "
