"This is a great place to stay if you are in SaPa and I highly recommend it. It is in a great location just a few minutes walk from the Stone Church, the outdoor amphitheater, and endless restaurants and shops. The hotel has a classic styling and yet it is quite modern. The rooms are very nice. We had a balcony that gave us a view of the hillside near town. There is a rooftop bar that lets you look out over everything. What really makes this place stand out though is the service and staff. When we arrived they whisked is up to our room, which was ready early. There was a personalized note welcoming us and a small bottle of wine as a welcome gift. Every day they brought complementary tea to the room. Each morning the breakfast was very good with a Vietnamese soup option as well as eggs cooked to taste, an automated espresso machine, and a buffet with a wide range of food including bacon, yogurt, fruit, fried rice, noodles, etc. Every time we entered or excited the hotel, staff rushed to help us. On our last day we were taking a “limousine” van service back to Hà Nội and driver asked us to meet him at the top of the street since the vehicle is large. It was raining and the staff insisted on taking our luggage up the street for us and lending us umbrellas which they only accepted back once we were entering the vehicle. They even gave us each a parting gift of a local handcrafted pouch as we checked out. We have had some very good service in Vietnam but this was exceptional."

"The room we stayed in needed lots of touch ups. The bathroom water and sink had issues but they resolved it, but the bath mat was not clean and overall did not feel clean in this bathroom. Free all you can eat breakfast was good, lots of options and healthy choices including fresh fruit and salads. If it were cleaner I wouldn’t mind staying here again though it wouldn’t be my first choice. "

"The staff were amazing - helpful, welcoming, and hard working to the point of seemingly being able to be everywhere at once. Large clean room with windows that opened to allow in the clean, fresh local air. Breakfast was small, but excellent, with buffet and made to order choices. The staff took care of ordering our tickets for the Fansipan funiculars, and cable car. Highly recommended!!"
