I always looked foward to chatting with them at meal times. Shankar has a mid-century modern motif, and it keeps the heritage of Nepal and Newari culture alive. Shankar also has an amazing garden to relax in and connect with nature after a long day in the city. "

"We stayed for three nights after our hiking trip and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The breakfast buffet was outstanding — a huge selection of fresh, local dishes that felt truly farm-to-table quality. We loved it so much that we decided to try the dinner buffet too, and it was just as delicious. We also enjoyed the spa services and one of the local tours offered by the hotel — both were excellent. The staff deserves special mention: every single person we met was pleasant, smiling, and genuinely cared about our comfort.
