The resort is small and quaint and felt very much like a large family with a wonderful beach to walk on adjacent to the property and a large pool with swim up bar to cool down in. "It was so much fun to see cows on the beach! The room we booked was huge and comfortable. My kids really enjoyed the bunk beds and the privacy curtains. The kitchen and living space was nicely equipped. All the nature around the hotel and the set up of the hotel is relaxing and lovely. We did encountered a plumbing issue during our stay that caused our unit to not have water for several hours for two days. The staff were helpful regarding this and accommodate us to shower in a different room. Not necessarily convenient but was not their fault and responded appropriately to the problem. The two restaurants had very similar food options and it was just alright. There were too many flies during meals and that was a nuisance. Staff were friendly at the restaurant as well. The pool and common areas look old and in my opinion could have more maintenance. We saw the pools being cleaned in the morning but the cement looks stained and many insects fall in the water throughout the day that could be cleaned for better enjoyment of the pool. "

"This property is absolutely gorgeous. I was disappointed in the management of the the property. Arriving guests had to wait a long time to check In and to get simple questions answered. They never answered the phones at all. The property is huge so you have to walk a lot but they have shuttles that never seemed to come to our building. They have limited towels and the food was horrible. There were very limited food choices and it was bland to taste. We tried the specialty dinning and the food was not good at all. We had to check out early due to having to drive 3 hours to another airport. The attendant would not let us exit without a piece of paper and this caused us to travel late during the night. If the lines weren’t so long we should have just been able to leave. I would not stay here again unless they made a lot of changes to their iteniary. "

"Big, clean rooms. Excellent breakfast and dinner menu. Friendly staff. It is a 2 minute walk up beach, this beach is quite rustic and a few more minutes to walk to more sandy beach. My only con was the outdoor grounds could have used a power wash and the pool sitting area was dirty and slimy. "
