No way is this an 8 star hotel. Maybe 6. They don't make the beds or change the towels. One bed had a comforter and one didnt.

Marriott Myrtle Beach Resort & Spa at Grande Dunes
The pool was freezing each day. Staff was overall friendly but concierge was not useful- they handed us some pamphlets and told us to Google what’s around for things to do. Buffet breakfast is where it’s at
