"The cottage has everything a family needs but the communications around check-in was very poor and hotels.com's customer service was unwilling to provide any assistance. "Second time using Nozawa Dream central. Location is excellent. Staff ALWAYS go above and beyond to help. Special shout out to Cora! Extremely helpful! Staff also understand the nuances to blending the Japanese +/- western resort experience. Rooms are traditional tatami style, so just be aware after a few days of sending it, our lumbered western bodies may take a hit getting up and down from the mats. Bathrooms/showers are shared - gets very cold down there. Coffee and tea station all provided for. No breakfast during this season's visit. But that's not a deal breaker. "
