"Hôtel propre, mais accueil glacial, aucun sourire, on ne prend pas la peine de répondre à nos questions, on a le sentiment d ennuyer la réceptionniste quand on arrive. Nous avons eu le droit a une coupure d eau, impossible de prendre notre douche le matin avant de partir, l'eau ne coulait pas des robinets, ni de la douche, par contre la chasse d eau fonctionnait. Les prix du restaurant sont excessifs pour ce qui est proposé et tous les autres restaurants ferme très tôt, donc ils ont le monopole....

"Really nice hotel. The decor is beautiful, the rooms are spacious, and the shower was large and well designed. We had a great ocean view, and one of the windows opened so we could listen to the waves whenever we wanted. The pool area is unique and enjoyable, although it does fall into the shade fairly early, around 5:00 PM. The woman who checked us in was incredibly friendly and helpful, providing excellent restaurant recommendations. The downtown area is also very walkable. The hotel offers a sauna and complimentary surfboards, which were nice added perks. Overall, a great stay and a hotel we would happily return to."

We ate dinner in the restaurant and were very impressed with the quality of the food. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this hotel and would be very happy to stay again"

"This is more than five star. I’ve been back three times. Once, we canceled a later hotel and went back to this one. Charming. Quiet. Food is superb. Walking up to the Mensikunute castle ruin in the early morning was a highlight as well as walking the adorable village area or enjoying the patio solitude and views."

"We stayed in a triple room, sadly only for one night. We would have been happy to stay much longer. The rooms are modern, airy, smart and quiet. The electric blinds are really effective. Very comfortable beds and decent bathrooms, coffee, TV etc. Super clean. Location is really convenient too for the town and the beach. What sets the Hotel apart is the incredible welcome, service and friendliness. Esti spent a load of time recommending and booking restaurants for us and Pablo let us leave our luggage for the afternoon while we went to the beach. We could not have had a better stay. We loved Zarautz and want to come back and will return to Hotel Zerupe if we can!"

"Ideal location for an overnight stop 5 minutes off the motorway This is a hotel with no staff present To access the property phone the number printed on the door They will send you a code to open the door, operate the lift, get in to the floor and it also opens your room door. It all works very well when you know that, but they should send you this information in advance. It is not very pleasant standing outside on the pavement not really knowing how to access the hotel. Once inside it is very pleasant for a overnight stay. Microwaves, fridges, cooker etc all a available to use in the common area. There is a Dia supermarket on the ground floor that is very good The town is a minutes walk away The hotel is in an industrial area but still quiet and beautifull scenenery"

"Nice rustic hotel in a fantastic location just a short walk to the lovely promenade where you can find bars and restaurants. Parking can be an issue as there is no car park, also along the street outside, parking is for residents only. Breakfast was ok, would have been nice to have had a hot offering though. There is no air conditioning and the rooms get very hot, it was 39 degrees when we stayed and it felt like an oven. Staff were really helpful and friendly."
