"Check in was the WORST experience I’ve ever had. When I arrived at the building not only did the front desk had no idea about my reservation, they indicated that the building didn’t operate as a hotel and only residents lived there. I had to be on the phone with Expedia for almost an hour while they resolved. After we finally “checked in” I realized that none of the rooms have blackouts and sunlight hits directly, so my kids would wake up at sunset. The amenities are OK but dated, the gym has flooring that needs work, the BBQ and Icemakers at the Pool don’t work. Finally I had booked a room with one King and 2 beds but ended up being only one bed per room. Location was nice, but management company, building and communication was terrible."

"This hotel was in a convenient location but most of the area was kind of run down. A lot of businesses boarded up and looks inhabited. I booked this location because it was within walking distance to the Culinary Institute. The first day, I have to say, I was a little disappointed. But after looking around, it was a lot easier to swallow. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. I found this awesome cafe 2 blocks over and just loved the vibe there. The only thing that I would recommend is updating the rooms. The wallpaper in my room was coming off the walls. Other than that, a lovely stay!"
