"I have stayed at many Toyoko Inns in Japan and expected the same level of integrity here, but unfortunately, my experience at the Marseille location was marred by the "disappearance" of my belongings and a dismissive staff. I checked out of Room 226 at 12:00 PM and accidentally left my MacBook charger and a universal adapter plugged into the wall. I realized the mistake and called the hotel at 2:24 PM. Initially, I was told items are always logged during cleaning. However, when I called back at 5:00 PM, I was told nothing was found and was repeatedly told I must be "mistaken." Between 12:00 PM and 2:24 PM, only staff had access to the room. Since the items never made it to the lost and found log, there is no other conclusion than that they were taken. It is incredibly disappointing that a brand known for trust has staff that would treat a guest’s property this way. If you stay here, double-check your outlets—anything left behind will likely not be returned."

"It's a lovely hotel and the staff were very nice but things could easily be improved. First of all, we were given a key which let us into somebody else's room. Then there was only one set of towels in the room. Also, the cleaner came but hadn't marked away my coffee cup stain on the bedside table. However, the bed and sheets etc were all pristine. The shower is quite far away from the pool, which means people use the pool without showering, and there's no changing room there. There isn't much open nearby on a Sunday evening, even early evening, which they can't do much about. It'd be a great location if you were taking the boat to Corsica but it's quite a long walk to Le Vieux Port (which was okay with us). "

"Amazing apartment right in the heart of the old port. Beautifully done. Spacious and well thought out with every appliance you could need. Comfortable beds, great bedding, good air con. The team who run it were super helpful. Its quite a climb to the top but was well worth it for the views. We felt safe and secure. My only very minor moan would be that there was a euro charge for coffee pods- we stayed in 5 other locations this trip and everywhere else they were free. "

I was looking for a more chill vacation so this was the perfect location for me to be by the beach but also close enough to the old town, that if I wanted to go into the old town it was a short drive.
